  • 1 tablespoon powder sugar (or white sugar0

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F and butter two 8inch round pans. Line the bottom of each with parchment paper.
  2. Mix the dry ingredients together in a large bowl
  3. In another bowl, mix the wet ingredients, EXCEPT the coffee.
  4. To the dry ingredients, slowly pour in the wet ingredients. Stir till combined well, batter will be thin
  5. Slowly add the hot coffee, while mixing until not dry ingredients left.
  6. Divide and pour into the round pans and bake for 35minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. Remove from oven and allow to cool on a rack. (Optional: when warm to touch brush on cake tops with cherry liqueur like Kirsch, I used Malibu coconut rum)

  • add in small batches of coolwhip to the cream cheese mixture till well blended
