Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup All Purpose Flour
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 Tablespoon unsalted butter (melted)
  • ham chopped
  • shredded cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees
  2. grease the popover pan (you can use a muffin tin) and place in oven to warm up
  3. while pan is warming, mix together flour, salt, eggs, milk and melted butter until combined well
  4. Remove the pan from the oven and place on heat proof surface
  5. Fill up each tin 1/4 of the way with batter and then add ham and cheese
  6. top with another 1/4 of the batter upto 3/4 of the way full. Do not over fill tin
  7. Bake for 20 minutes at 425 then reduce heat to 325 degrees and bake for additional 15 minutes until golden brown
